Today: Mainly cloudy, Early showers to the North clear away - then later light shower chances.   High:  72

Tonight: Clouds & comfortable temperatures, Light breeze & lingering light shower chances.   Low:  57

Friday: Mainly cloudy, Early spotty showers followed by better storm chance later.   High:  70

Some moisture is returning to eastern Iowa as we head through early Thursday, helping to fuel some earlier showers mainly toward the North.  As we head through the day we'll look for additional light showers to head into the area from the South as well.  The best chances for rain show up as we head through your Friday, with some potentially more potent thunderstorms in the area by Friday night and lingering into early Saturday.

There is good news if you are headed to Iowa City to watch the Hawkeyes Saturday afternoon.  As of now it is looking like things will start to clear up by Saturday late-morning, or at worst by about game-time.  Then we'll see clouds gradually break apart as well.
