Look for occasional showers tonight with a storm system that will stick around through at least Wednesday midday. We will continue to see some areas of dense fog tonight as well.
The main low pressure center will wrap into the region Thursday, bringing another wave of showers and maybe some rumbles of thunder starting Wednesday night. On the backside of the system, lingering showers will continue Friday into Saturday.
Rainfall amounts will be in the .25" to .50" range into Wednesday midday, with .50" to .75" possible Thursday into Friday. Many River Flood Warnings have been issued for the area due to the snow melt, high river water levels, and expected rainfall. Check out the links below from the National Weather Service for more information on river forecasts. Stay tuned to CBS2 and FOX28 for updates on river levels and warnings.
